Nicola Lathbury

Founder – FM Connect. MD - Infinite Group Services & Fabric Maintenance Projects

Nicola is an award-winning business leader and our Founder of FM Connect, which was set up to bring together Facilities Management, Property and Workplace professionals to expand their networks, learn and share knowledge.  Having won awards as Networker of the Year and winning an award for Top 50 Workplace Leaders, Combined with ten years experience organising events for the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management  (IWFM), Nicola is the obvious person to galvanise a team of brand ambassadors to help bring industry professionals together.

Nicola is also the MD of Infinite Group which is a specialist Facilities and Property Management Recruitment and Business Development Consultancy, where she helps businesses attract the best executive talent and increase their sales to generate profit.

She is also one of the Owners of Fabric Maintenance Projects (FMP) who are a FM Service Provider delivering fabric maintenance and fit out projects to commercial and residential sites across the Midlands.

Outside of work, Nicola is the Past Chair for Women in FM (WIFM) for IWFM and is Mum to her 4 year old daughter. She has also mentored several rising stars within the FM Industry and loves helping people break through barriers and achieve their goals.

Laura Pearson

Senior Client Relations Manager - Artelia UK

Laura has been working for services providers for the last couple of years, she currently works at Artelia Group, who are a Project management and Cost Consultancy based in London but headquartered in Paris.

Laura sits on the committee for IWFM, CoreNet and co-founded the perspectives network. Outside of her 9-5, Laura works for a charity called the Ashdon Jazz Academy which is a mentoring charity for girls aged 12-21.

Louisa Clarke

Director - One Feather Coaching

Louisa Clarke, a seasoned professional with over a decade in the Royal Air Force and eighteen years in executive Facilities Management (FM), brings a wealth of expertise and an unwavering commitment to the success of those she guides.

A key player in the growth of one of the UK’s largest privately owned FM providers, Louisa earned recognition as the Ex-Forces Business Leader of the Year in 2022 and secured a spot among the Top 50 Workplace Leaders.

Louisa’s passion for coaching extends beyond her role—it’s about the value she brings to individuals. With a distinctive blend of precision, business acumen, and transformative insight, she is dedicated to guiding others to reach their peak potential. As the founder of One Feather Coaching and a certified coaching professional, Louisa shares her rich experience to enable others to unlock their full potential in both professional and personal life.

Beyond her professional role, Louisa actively contributes as the IWFM Veterans network chairperson, government advisor, and more, broadening her international leadership insights and enriching her coaching practice. With Louisa, individuals gain a mentor with a global perspective and a track record of proven success.

Lee Gill

Managing Director - Flow Office

Lee Gill has spent 30yrs in the office interiors industry and now owns Flow Office, an office design, fitout and furniture company. Lee’s expertise is designing offices of the future factoring in Hybrid working and the wellbeing of staff.

Rebecca Scahill

Business Development Manager - John O’ Connor Ground Maintenance

I support facilities professionals with their grounds to:

–        Reduce risks during winter.

–        Create the right first impression.

–        Improve their people’s experience.

–        Enhance the environment for wildlife.

Developing relationships is a key part of my job. In the facilities world, trust is everything. That’s why networking is important. It gives us the opportunity to socialise and get to know each other.

Outside of work, I’m a mum of two boys. We spend most of our time at the football (Hull City for my sins) or outdoors with nature.

Lucy Lloyd

CEO - Legno Group

Lucy is a high performing leader with a wealth of business development and operational experience in the Facilities Management Industry with particular expertise in the commercial cleaning space.

She has held senior roles at within the FM Industry for the last 20 years.

Lucy spent 6 years as an independent consultant working with organisations to develop growth strategies and gain investment funding. She has a keen focus on ESG within the FM space and is dedicated to developing industry leading people strategies that deliver on her aim of professionalising the FM industry.

She has track record of developing a strategic approach to increase profits, develop teams and integrate acquisitions.

Andrea Donaldson-Smith

Head of Soft Services - The Hurlingham Club

Andrea joined the FM industry 8 years ago and has steadily been working her way up the leadership ranks

Throughout her career, she has remained eccentric and authentic – sometimes this has not served her well – but for the most part, she knows she is celebrated for not being the stereotypical incarnation of a Facilities Manager.

Andrea is currently the Secretary for Women in FM (WIFM) with IWFM and also a volunteer for “Inspire the Future”, an organisation that has industry professionals from all different sectors, join careers week events at local secondary school or mock interview days to help give students confidence to follow their future career goals or to get insights into industries they were previously were unaware of.

Andrea supports and encourages individuality and boldness in the workplace. Open about her mental health struggles and being neurodivergent, Andrea is passionate about ensuring that everyone has a voice and is hoping to help with changing the perception of invisible illnesses or disabilities in the FM industry.

Outside of work she is a confessed and proud bibliophile, never without one in some format or another, crazy cat mama and a student of British Sign Language

You could say I’m a workplace thought-leader who’s passionate about creating human-centric workplaces, but at its most basic, what I do is focus on people. I home in on the employee experience, workplace culture, and organisational performance and use data insights to deliver change and business improvement in regard to culture, space, process, and technology.
