I’ve been working in facilities management for over 20 years and I still love what I do.
I’ve worked across all sectors, and at every level too, from being hands-on with front line teams to sitting in the boardroom making strategic decisions. That range of experience is something I’m really proud of, because it means I genuinely understand the pressures people face at every point in an organisation.
Soft FM has my heart, but I’ve worked across the whole spectrum over the years, so I have a good feel for how it all connects.
I started fmaw associates because I kept coming across the same problem – brilliant people running FM services, but struggling to keep on top of compliance, audits or the pace of change.
I wanted to build something that could actually help with that, in a way that’s honest, practical and tailored to how things really work.
Outside of work I love the beach, catching up with friends and spending a lot of money on crafts which I think I can do but can’t 😊
